Turtle Writing

The Story

The first release of my Turtle Writing project has been in progress since 2005 when I first stepped foot in Imaginary Road Studios. At that time I had been working on a new sound since 2002 in the vein of the old Windham Hill acoustic artists (Most notably WIll Ackerman, David Cullen, and inspiration from Michael Hedges.)

In 2005 I recorded 4 songs at Imaginary Road with Will Ackerman and Corin Nelsen and took a break until 2009 when I recorded 10 more songs. Other projects have kept me from finishing this first album, but I hope to have a release in 2012, 7 years in the making.

This is a big sneak peek at what I've been working on. These tracks are all edited, but most are not mixed completely.
